Policy Statement
Monash has enterprise-level educational technologies. New enterprise-level educational technologies will only be considered for adoption in accordance with terms of reference approved by Education Committee, in consultation with the Office of the Chief Information Officer. New enterprise-level educational technologies will only be adopted upon Academic Board approval of an education and business case.
Enterprise level educational technologies will be reviewed at least every three years by Education Committee and the Office of the Chief Information Officer, in accordance with terms of reference approved by Education Committee.
Use of alternative enterprise-level educational technologies will only be allowed upon Education Committee and Academic Board approval of an education, business and backup and disaster recovery case.

Educational Technology: Software and hardware utilized in teaching and learning activities, the administration and analysis of such activities, and for the development of student learning and research skills.
