Graduate/Postgraduate Code of Practice for Fee paying Courses
Faculties shall develop and have ratified by the Academic Board a Code of Practice and Associated Guidelines for Fee-Paying Courses including reference to the points listed below.
Issues to be considered in the development of faculty codes of practice for fee-paying courses include:
- the rationale for decisions relating to which courses are to be on-load and off-load;
- ethical standards including how fees are to be introduced and advertised, the timing of fee introduction and changes to fee levels, and the management of changes to fee levels; and
- the methods according to which the faculty plans to monitor and evaluate the impact of fee-paying courses.
Purpose
The objective of this policy is to provide broad guidelines for developing a code of practice for fee-paying courses.
Scope
This policy applies to all graduate/postgraduate fee-paying coursework programs.

Review Schedule
Academic Board shall consider this policy for review three years after approval, or earlier if required.
