Schedule of Qualification Categories

Entrance Level

The normal requirement for admission is successful completion of Year 12 (subject to established prerequisite components) or equivalent. This normally involves completion of thirteen years of previous full-time study at primary and secondary school levels.

Duration

  • Six standard semesters full-time equivalent (144 credit points), or
  • Eight standard semesters full-time or equivalent (192 credit points), usually in ‘professional’ faculties.

Exit Standard

Successful candidates are normally awarded a Bachelor Degree.

Bachelor Degree programs usually involve one or more major specialisations. Course content is taken to a significant depth and progressively developed to a high level that provides a basis for postgraduate study.
